Animal tales from a Bushfire – Yarloop stories by animals involved in the 2016 bushfire with photos.

Helen Potter

My interest in photography accelerated when I made a major decision to confront my lifelong fear of dogs. A little golden (very cute) puppy became part of my family in 2006. I named him KoKo (which is oKoK backwards – just like dog is “god” in reverse).

KoKo gradually grew in size and personality, evolving into a well-known, very friendly but egotistical Subiaco dog. I have photographed hundreds of his mates at the park. http://www.kokosdogbl;og.com is a gallery of my favourites as well as a show case of KoKo’s Subiaco doggie mates and Subiaco people and events.
